J Dilla "Ruff Draft" Episode 1. Directed by Ross Harris
Stones Throw Records asked me to make a series of short documentaries to accompany the release of "Ruff Draft" by J Dilla.
J Dilla was one of the most highly respected producer / MC's of all time. He died last year at the age of 32 from an incurable blood disease. I spoke with his family and friends
about his legacy and the making of a hip hop classic.

This is the first episode.
